The Blyckers: are in town and planning a party again! You are all invited to a gathering on April 7 at 6:00 pm in the Youth Center.  We will be giving an update about all that we've encountered in South Texas and how we've seen God working, we will eat some dessert and visit a bit - there's sure to be pictures, music, and humor. Even the Blycker kids will be giving a report! If you think you might be able to attend, please RSVP to Blair at 509-922-3261. We want to make sure to have enough dessert for everyone!

Good Friday Service: We'll be holding a Tenebrae service on Good Friday again this year, (April 18th), at 6:00pm. "Tenebrae" is Latin for "darkness" or "shadows" and this service provides an opportunity to reflect quietly on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ in a unique way. It also provides a great counterpoint to the resurrection celebration we'll have Easter morning! Make plans to join us, and consider inviting someone else.

Men’s Retreat: Registration is now open. Grab a registration form in the foyer or go to our Website: waypointspokane.org and register online.  If you pay with a check or cash please make sure you have your name and that it is for Men’s retreat.  If you have any questions or need a scholarship, please get in touch with Pastor Mitch.

Giving Report: In order to meet our obligations to our missionaries, our building loan, and our general needs (including our Pastoral Intern) we need to receive $7,985 each week. Last Sunday we received $4,566.80. Pray that faithful giving remains faithful giving.

Missions Moment: Today’s Missionary Moment highlights a young missionary serving in Thailand, though their name remains undisclosed. After the holidays this missionary traveled in the Middle East learning that Muslims from different areas are the same, yet different. It was refreshing to wear different clothing and eat new foods! Back home to the young group meetings, Muslim students are eager to keep meeting and getting the main idea of the Good News; and open to hearing more. Pray for six girls. A Muslim friend surprisedly asked how it is possible to have all sin erased! This missionary has been able to tell the “best news”. But “it remains exhausting trying to chip away at the thick and ancient walls that have been built against belief in Christ”. This missionary finds fresh desire for scripture by studying Paul in Galatians. God’s word renews faith; and is filling. There is much personal joy shared in this report. Please pray for less discouragement and more discipline in learning the language. With a grateful heart having been sent to the unreached, thank you.
